TOKYO Black Roquan Smith Jersey , May 2 (Xinhua) -- A car crashed through a hospital window and into the lobby of the hospital in Oita Prefecture in southwestern Japan on Tuesday, leaving 13 people injured, local police said.

The driver of the mini car was a woman in her 70s, the police said, who are investigating the cause of the crash.


The elderly driver also suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash, that occurred at around 10:45 a.m. in Oita City.

The hospital opened in 1951 and there are currently about 500 staff members and 260 beds. It has about 20 medical departments.
